As a member of the data team you will drive, define, develop and maintain the conceptual, logical and physical data models, and support business terms creation/definition within the Glossary Hierarchy. You will act as a liaison between the business analysts and the development team!
Interesting! What do I have to bring?
You have at least a couple of years of experience with data modelling, potentially even as a data architect or solution designer. But foremost, you are passionate about large volumes of data, and you enjoy optimizing data systems and building them up from scratch! Currently, they are already started moving to a real-time datalake!
Experience in the Agile methodologies would be a perfect fit, able to slice and dice work/ideas in clear stories and tasks.
And From a more technical point of view?
With a +/- 5 years of experience working as a Data Modeler or Architect. You are technically capable to work with the various data management tools like Information Governance Catalogue, Information Data Architect, SQL, ORACLE and are not afraid to get into the detail of the data that you are working with! In addition, you are able to align across the various global locations with your colleagues in order to ensure harmonization of data mappings. You are consistent and structured in your way of working, you understand the importance of meta-data, you will acknowledge the importance of the various governance aspects and are willing to keep them part of your integral day-to-day work.
Next to that, having social and communication skills will be crucial to understanding the requirements and to manage all the stakeholders who are involved.
