Your main gig is to make sure everything runs smoothly and everything hits the right notes when it comes to IT support. This includes everything from fixing desktop hardware and software issues to managing accounts, mobile devices, and remote access. You’ll even get to play around with Google video conferencing and meeting setups. You’ll keep an eye on how well the service desk is doing, looking for ways to improve and tracking performance. When major tech problems arise, you’ll coordinate the response to fix things quickly. Working with suppliers and service providers to maintain and restore services will also be important. You’ll help plan the budget and manage user hardware, making sure everything is ordered and maintained properly. In this way, you keep the fans and crowd happy!
This is perfect! Do I fit in?
You have a solid technical background, and you’ve got experience with Active Directory, mailbox management, Windows, MAC OS, and Google Workspace. Besides this, you’ve recently run a technical service desk team of at least two people. Managing direct reports? No problem. Your organizational skills are top-notch because you thrive in high-pressure environments. And what else? You’re familiar with tools like Intune, Jamf, and MDM. Service Now ITSM and Windows, check! Networking, VPN, Cyber Security, and WiFi are in your skill set too. Last but not least, you communicate clearly and effectively, forming good working relationships with everyone, from business users to senior and VIP staff.
